We partner with our Nurses at Centerpoint Medical Center!Job Summary and QualificationsMother/Baby nurses care for the mother and baby couplet from delivery through dismissal from the hospital. This population includes -newborns and adolescent through middle-aged women (typically aged 14-50). Mother/Baby nurses provide care using ongoing -assessments, interventions and evaluation of interventions (i.e. the nursing process) and is responsible for the plan of care. Emphasis is -placed on patient teaching, critical thinking skills and promoting maternal/newborn bonding.What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
  • Registered Nurse
  • Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree
  • Prefer 2 or more years of acute care RN experience is a 285+ bed hospital featuring state-of-the-art equipment and technology.
