Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Overland Park KS (Kansas City)
We are looking for a motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our practice full time or Part time in Overland Park, KS. Our therapy assistants are actively participating in patient care and working with a team on therapy floor as well as other provider types in the facility. Duties:

• Assist therapists and patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques to include exercise instruction, modern modalities, and activities of daily living
• Patient education on the benefits of PT, treatment plan maintenance, and home exercises
• Documentation/progress notes- accurate and timely records, document treatments rendered in patient charts, Record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit
• Collaboration with the PTs, PTA's and healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care
• Communicate effectively with both the staff and patients
• Create an excellent experience for patients through a friendly and focused attitude Requirements:
  • Completion of a Physical Therapy Assistant Program
  • PTA License in KS
  • Experience in physical medicine, rehabilitation, or similar fields is a plus Schedule:
    • Full time or Part time
    • Monday through Friday (No Weekends) Compensation:
      • $ 20-$22/hr Benefits:
