Job Description:
The Horseracing Integrity & Welfare Unit (HIWU) Quality
Assurance Analyst II is a dedicated and detail-oriented contributor
to Drug Free Sport International/International Doping Tests &
Management (DFSI-IDTM) by evaluating, testing and validating IT
systems, services and software. The individual will assess service
levels and product performance to ensure established quality
standards are met. Key contributions include collaborating with
both current and future development partners to identify
requirements, creating test plans, and ensuring the highest
standards of product quality. Additional oversight includes
documenting issues and tracking status in designated systems; and
developing solutions to resolve problems and provide
recommendations for improvements to process, configuration, and
products.Key Responsibilities:Work closely with current and future
development partners to define clear, comprehensive test plans
based on system and product requirements and understand product
functionality, requirements and technical aspects.Collaborate with
the HIWU team, including Testing, Science, Legal, Investigations
and Education, and applicable internal stakeholders to identify
needs and ensure product development delivers innovative tools to
advance the HIWU mission in service to the Thoroughbred racing
industry.Identify key test cases, scenarios and areas for testing,
ensuring full coverage of the products or systems being
developed.Conduct functional, integration, regression and
performance testing for both technical systems and product
features.Validate systems meet product requirements, business needs
and user expectations.Work with developers, internal teams and
external constituents to ensure issues are clearly documented and
resolved, and processes are aligned to deliver a quality product on
time.Document test results and report issues in detail to the
Principal Project Manager and other relevant stakeholders.In
collaboration with the Principal Project Manager, track and verify
defects through to resolution.Identify areas of improvement within
the testing processes and work to refine methodologies and
procedures.Stay current on industry best practices and arising
tools to continuously improve quality assurance efforts.Perform

the individual must be mature, accountable, detail-oriented,

not limited to:Bachelor's degree in information technology or
related field preferred.2-4 years of proven experience in quality
assurance or software testing with a focus on technical systems and
product testing.Familiar with manual and automated testing
methodologies.Highly credible and ethical.Detail-oriented,
proactive, and able to identify issues early and work toward
efficient resolutions.Strong attention to detail and
problem-solving abilities.Independent thinker and solution
oriented.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part
of collaborative internal and external teams.Experience working in
Agile or similar development environments.Familiarity with bug
tracking tools such as Jira.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
(Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software
tools.Flexibility and adaptability, including responding to urgent
requests and supporting testing efforts outside of standard
business hours.Willingness to travel occasionally. Pass a
